A Mongolian jade and enameled ceremonial sword, Probably late 19th century, of typical form, the scabbard formed of alternating celadon jade and raised stylized foliate enamel bands, inset with red and turquoise hardstone cabochons, the locket with a raised pierced dragon, the sword with oval celadon jade cross guard, etched with characters, before a similarly enameled grip with spinach jade end, with steel blade, on a later rosewood stand, 3 pcs, the sword, est:$6000/8000
25.5'' D. Provenance: Property from a Private Sun Valley, CA Collection. Condition: The blade length: 20''. The scabbard length: 24''. Generally good condition overall. With typical marks, scratches, rubbing and tarnishing to surfaces overall. Scattered minor losses to enamel. Oxidation and spotting to blade. Minor chipped losses to edge of cross guard. AS-IS. ALL SALES FINAL
